How it's decided

How it's decided

This award recognises the product that attracted the most money during the measurement period. We calculate this by taking the total value bought, minus the total value sold, and converting all accounts to a Rand value for a fair comparison. Only trades count, not transfers. This means a product that was bought and quickly sold won't win just because it had lots of activity. The winner in each category is the product with the highest net Rand value.
